Tools to prepare: screwdriver, spray bottle, old toothbrush, long-handled brush, dishcloth, rubber gloves, rag, plastic bag, etc...
Protect the stove: Place a layer of old cloth strips or waste cardboard on the stove under the range hood to prevent dripping oil from dirtying the stove
Homemade cleaner: add an appropriate amount of baking soda (2-3 spoons), half a cup of white vinegar, and a few drops of dish soap into a, then add warm water and stir evenly; or purchase a specialized range hood cleaner.
Take proper precautions: wear rubber gloves (to protect hands from oil stains and detergents) and a mask (to protect against pungent odors).
Cleaning steps
Surface cleaning
Spray the cleaner evenly on the range hood casing, glass panel, and other parts, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to soften the grease

If the oil filter is secured by clips or screws, remove it using a screwdriver or manually.

After soaking, gently scrub with a scouring pad or brush to remove grease, then air dry and put back.
Oil cup cleaning
